The team specializes in Canadian and USA personal tax-return preparations and the maximization of tax refunds.
Coming from a variety of backgrounds, the JRPC team is well-equipped to handle all requests from various angles. Members of our team hold a variety of undergraduate degrees along with Masters of Economics, CA, CGA and CPA accounting designations. The JRPC team maintains hands-on knowledge about all clients allowing each client to feel very comfortable dealing with every member of our team. The constant communication with each other make a considerable positive client service impact. We have excellent and extremely efficient co-ordination amongst ourselves, as well as with our clients, resulting in true value, upon which we pride ourselves, delivered on an ongoing basis.
Jonathan obtained his Bachelor of Commerce at Concordia University prior to completing his graduate work at McGill University and York University. His training and certification as a Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (U.S.) and Certified Financial Planner allows Jonathan to provide his clients with the highest professional level of corporate and personal income tax services including compliance, planning, and monitoring of overall tax efficiency. In addition to working with numerous successful businesses in consulting and strategic roles, he has provided financial and tax advice to professional athletes and high profile personnel in the television and film industries in Canada, the United States and abroad.
Along with his team, Jonathan has extensive experience in providing assistance with securing refundable Canada Revenue Agency scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED; R&D), (ITC) and Ontario Innovation Tax Credits (OITC).
Jonathan's expertise has been called upon for financial and accounting articles in print media publications such as The Toronto Star, CA Magazine, Investment Executive, MoneySense and The Financial Post along with television programs including 680News and TSN's 'The Business of Sports'.
